Tarps, in three sizes, that provide superior lightweight protection from the elements. S-Tarps have welded tie-outs providing superior non-wicking strength without punching stitch holes that otherwise have to be sealed. Corner reinforcements are also welded to provide even load distribution when staking out. Any sewn seams are seam taped. Sized for 1, 2 or 4 sleepers, these tarps, when used in conjunction with our G-Tarp ground cover, pad and sleeping bag, will provide a lightweight sleep system capable of handling just about anything Mother Nature can muster. Comes with a convenient sewn-in stuff sack. Improvised Tarp Set Up Tarps are a bit like Jazz musicians. They're all about improvisation. Start by assessing the local scene. Look for potential overhead assistants. Large trees (make sure there are no widow-makers hanging around), or a pair of trees between which you can use a slack line to pop up the middle of the shelter. Tie a hitch with your guy-corde around a stick and pop up or stabilize a corner. Use a trekking pole to create the entrance. It's all about using what Nature presents you.
